Bureau of Administration and Program Support

The Bureau of Administration and Program Support performs a variety of tasks to support the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, including fiscal management, training, data collection and analysis, information technology, administrative and clerical services.

 

BUDGET AND GRANTS MANAGEMENT DIVISION

Maintains our internal departmental budget, as well as the administration of grants, including the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant. 

The SAPT Block Grant Application is available on WebBGAS.  To access the application, log in as "citizenpa" and use "citizen" as your password.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION

Administrative: Provides overall administrative support including human resource services and office services, and also manages clerical support for the Department.

Business Workflows: Collects, analyzes and disseminates data on drug and alcohol programs to provide policymakers with up-to-date information and to meet federal data reporting requirements.  Also maintains the DDAP website and several other systems designed to enhance communications and operations for county authorities statewide.

Training: Coordinates multiple training initiatives, including a web-based application that allows drug and alcohol and other human services professionals to register for trainings offered throughout the Commonwealth.
