the new system be Windows-based?
A.) WITS is not a Windows-based application. The new system is a web application and will function from a workstation with a compatible web browser. Compatible web browsers include: IE 11, Chrome, Mozilla, and Firefox.
Q.) Is there going to be an upload capability built between the Treatment Provider's existing systems to the new data system?
A.) A decision has been made to not include functionality that allows uploading data directly to the new DDAP Data System.
Q.) What are the phases of the DDAP Data System Project?
A.) The first phase of the project will focus on Treatment and TEDS data collection. The second phase of the project will include Prevention and Contract Management functionality.
Q.) Will training be provided for the new system?
A.) FEi Systems and DDAP are preparing a comprehensive Training Plan to educate users on how to use the new WITS data system that will include User Manuals, online training videos and instructor led courses.
Q.) Will this be for all DDAP licensed facilities, regardless of their contractual status with the SCA?
A.) Non-SCA contracted providers may request access to the system from DDAP when the system goes live.
Q.) Are we going to have to add patient information from 2015 and 2016 into the system?
A.) The data from September 1, 2015 until the date of Go-Live (July 2017) will be collected. The process for data collection is still being evaluated.
Q.) Will the new data system provide ways to streamline sharing of information or changes in level of care?
A.) DDAP is working with FEi to define the most efficient way to track changes in client level of care and still capture the outcome measures required for Federal reporting. The system will provide the ability to pre-populate data at different stages of the treatment process.
