Substance Use Prevention/Education

The Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) is responsible for the development, oversight, and management of substance misuse prevention and intervention services throughout Pennsylvania. The agency's major focus is to reduce risk factors associated with substance use and promote the development of healthy lifestyles that positively impact individuals across the lifespan, in their communities, families, and schools.

The Prevention Staff Handbook and SAP Liaison Handbook are tools for outlining information, resources, documents, tasks, related to your position. Our goal is that you can use the word version of the handbooks (below) to customize and make your own.
